- To cross the border, Russian citizens do not need a foreign passport, it is enough to present a general civil internal passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation. - Mobile communication. Beeline, MTS and Megafon operate on the territory of Abkhazia (except Tele2). It is also possible to connect local mobile communication ("Amobile" or "Aquafon"), whose offices are located at the border and in any city;
- Abkhazian food is quite appropriately an expression of the culture. Spicy, healthy and delicious dishes of the local cuisine will not leave you indifferent for sure;
- Year-around fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables can be found in the local markets.
